James Barr is providing Gamesa Energy UK with planning advice on the development of a number of renewable energy parks throughout Scotland. The services provided include submissions to development plans and other planning related documents, pre-application discussions with planning authorities and other key stakeholders, preparation of community consultation documents and supporting planning statements and reviews of Environmental Statements.
The most advanced project is the Carscreugh Renewable Energy Park, which was submitted as a planning application to Dumfries & Galloway Council. This project proposed the installation of 18 wind turbines (each of 850 kilowatt capacity), 40 photovoltaic cells and associated infrastructure.
