James Barr obtain planning permission for 30 acre site at Kilmarnock
Posted on 13/01/12
Acting on behalf of Diageo Scotland, James Barr recently obtained planning permission for a mixed use development, including a new further education college, on the 30 acre site in Kilmarnock which is to close in 2012.
This planning consent is seen as the first stage to pave the way for the redevelopment of the site to include a mix of new business and residential uses.
The proposed relocation of Kilmarnock College to the site will result in a significant development on part of the site, which will offer considerable benefit to the local community. Other phases of development are expected to follow the new college project.
