About J Stuart:

Stuart is Director of Planning, and a highly respected figure in his field, both commercially and academically. His career began as a Graduate Planner with Strathclyde Regional Council in 1983. He moved on to East Kilbride Development Corporation in 1985 before joining James Barr in 1991. Stuart has amassed a wealth of experience in all aspects of planning, including Local Plan Research and Inquiries, Development Control Advice, Public Inquiries, Land and Property Audits, Master Planning, Development Consultancy and Environmental Audits. As a result of his work in both public and private sectors, he has acquired particular expertise in the planning of residential developments
