Following the introduction of the new planning system on the 3 August 2009, James Barr has undertaken a number of Public Consultation Events relating to major development proposals.  Under the new planning system it is now necessary to conduct a community consultation event to inform the public of the development proposals before a major planning application can now be lodged.
 
Public consultation events have taken place in Kirkcaldy on behalf of Invertiel Developments Ltd and in Dunoon for CWP Property and Investment. Both events were undertaken over 2 days including the weekend and were well attended by members of the community.
