James Barr Architecture are responsible for the design of this high quality office building, which is due for completion in June 2007 with a construction value of £2.6 million.  It is the first plot to be developed in Scottish Enterprise Tayside's Seabraes Digital Media Park and is seen as an incubator for the up and coming technology and creative industries of Dundee.

Sited on a stand-alone plot with magnificent views across the River Tay there are two distinct wings to this building.  The solid east wing finished with the regulated and vibrant red terracotta rainscreen, with its gable end addressing Dundee city centre and the west wing which is a collective of obtuse angles opening out to face the media park site and clad in industrial composite panels.  Bridging these two wings is the five-storey high circulation core, which acts as a billboard for the Digital Media Park.

It was important to our client that the maximum flexibility for tenants be incorporated into the design and this has been achieved with 28,000sq ft of net office space split over 4 storeys with the option for multiple tenants per floor, single tenancy across each floor or the whole building.

Associated with this building is a private car park to the rear that accommodates 65 car parking spaces and a landscaping scheme, which integrates into the infrastructure of the Seabraes Digital Media Park and linkways to Dundee City Centre.
