On behalf of the Science & Technology Facilities Council,  valuations were prepared for accounting and financial statement purposes.  The Council have property assets within the UK and abroad, including observatories in mountain top locations in the Canary Islands and Hawaii. The Council occupy purpose built specialist facilities and the valuations involved the application of various techniques in accordance with professional guidelines.  Sites covered included the extensive Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on the outskirts of Oxford.
